Job Title –   Senior Supply Line Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Supply Line Manager is responsible for all aspects of purchasing including managing purchasing staff and ensuring the organization goals are met. Critical aspects include guaranteeing that all critical supplies are available in stock when required, achieving yearly cost reductions goals, revenue planning, and achievement of yearly cost reduction goals. Works closely with Sales and Operation functions.

Primary Functions:

  • Responsible for vendor set up, part number creation, vendor follow up, raw material forecasting through blanket P.O.s and kanbans, convert requisitions into purchase orders and communicate those orders to the vendors , establish reorder points.
  • Manage supply chain team
  • Prioritizing and coordination with Operations to meet the revenue goal
  • Facilitate daily production meetings and set priorities for Operations when there are constraints identified
  • Detail production plan for all departments. Establish safety stock inventory and drive the company to maintain these stock inventories
  • Working closely with production managers track inventory throughout the company
  • As the liaison between Sales and Operations prioritize operations based on sales forecast and develop product strategy and revenue expectations between both organizations
  • Lead cost savings and other projects
  • Coordinate IT demand for Supply Chain within Rubicon Technology
  • Experience / Requirements

  • 10 years minimum experience in Supply Line Management
  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • BS degree, CPIM Desirable
  • Proven Leadership, Communication, and Negotiating skills
